Race Report: On a drizzly still night there were a few PB'S and the Women competitors took full advantage of the ideal conditions and produced fast times. Hayley Ovens 5:29 Womens CR came under attack from a debut 5:35 performance from Jennifer Kibble (Fife A.C) producing the 2nd fastest Women's time round Ravenscraig. Lorraine Brown (Fife A.C) came within 2 sec of Gail Murdoch's (Carnegie Harriers) 5:53 FV40 Record with an impressive 5:55 (an sec PB! scoring a 80.03 wava score)
John Mill (Dundee RR) produced a 5 sec PB with 5:18, Ailsa Cruickshanks (Anster Haddies) an impressive 17 sec PB of 6:05, Brian R Smith (Fife A.C) a 1 sec PB of 6:11, Miriam Rennet (Dundee R.R) a 6 sec PB of 6:32 . Birthday girl Mel Sinclair (Carnegie Harriers) had a good night setting a 1 sec PB of 6:25 and also picking up a 2nd place prize in her age group!
