Wait a minute ! I've just noticed...
Where did that 'half' come from , Melanie ?
Can I have the other half if it's going spare ?

LMAO - I wondered how long it would take for someone to pick up on that!!!

I did half the National Cross Country as I wasn't well and had to pull out but surely that counts as a half? Atleast I tried to run!

Well I suppose.......in that case Brian, you'd better have an extra half retrospectively for 2009 when you fell down that rabbit's hole and bust your ankle at Dollar (it was the poor bunny-rabbit for whom I felt sorry)

The Highland Boundary Series gave my March quota a wee boost to 7
So an interim total of 14 but a bit of a hiatus as it looks like nothing local for the next two weeks

Didn't forget . The Lady of the Loch of the Lowes and I already have a 'date' there ; but I'm afraid that twelve days is such a long time without a race that I may be forced into .. training!!

I was also a very respectable 7 for March and can't remember what that brings my total up to now but I surely must be catching up to Mr Smith now that he's using the old 'injured' card!!

Brian,
See Tayside Orienteers (Fixtures) .. for some newly added fixture dates .
There is even a Long 'O' being planned for the Ochils late in June .. could suit the hill runners

7 in April takes me to 21.
Seem to be doing my running in oil-rig shifts .. two weeks on then two weeks off . Not to worry, the football season ends in May then I'll have more dates available

Your results for the Kinross 10k are on the home page of the Perth Roadrunners website (I don't know how to transpose them to here)

Only 4 for May brings me to 25
..but now that the football season is over .. watch me go
..and when I'm president of the SAF there will be no races when United are playing , I will not allow two local races to clash on the same day , Dundee will have it's own Friday night 5k time trial series and it's own Park Runs (twice-a-week) and there will be no hill race cancellations due to..shoogley trees!

Looks like this year's Whitetops hill race organised by Dundee Hawkhill Harriers at Kirkton of Auchterhouse on Friday 1st July will be getting a make-over due to car-park problems etc. at the old Balkello start/finish.
Looks like we'll be starting nearer registration and (more importantly) finishing much nearer the cakes but most of the race will be over the previous route and encompass the same scenic views.
Seems as if all the years of practice that those 'Lomies' have had while running out of the village and up the hospital road during their annual Auchterhouse training pilgrimages may have just paid off!
Well pre-planned, pilgrims.
