OK Chris, 'running' total now 45.
For info' :- tonight is the Forfar Roadrunners re-scheduled wee hill race, followed on Sunday by their 10k (they only have to squeeze another three races in between for a 'tour' of Forfar)
Will Balmullo be an island by Thursday?

Stuck on 75 with only 3 days left and not a race in sight
It all starts again on 1/Jan at Blairgowrie and next year I'm going to avoid the ortho' surgeons at Ninewells and get a proper total

Only 54 races.

But 114hrs, 38mins, 31secs altogether.

2 3rd places,
3 2nd places,
And 4 wins!

And my first championship win since 2000 (2 actually) and 2 team championships.

Not doing so well this year, Carnethy will be my first of the year. See you all there. Really looking forward to a trip up north again.

Up to the end of April I've done a mere 16 races in 2009. They include 3 Outright wins, 1 Team National age group win, 1 Club Hill Championship and 3 fastest handicap race times.

So enough to keep me amused then.

In the excitement of the Tour , I almost missed that the veritable plethora of events in July has taken me up to 51 races for the year so far .
Whoopee! Is there anything on this weekend?

I'll never get 100 unless I stop going to United matches instead of racing and as I won't drive to an event for more time than it actually takes me to run the race I usually only get as far as Angus, Fife, Perthshire (but as I get older and slower at running I should be allowed to add on extra minutes to the travelling time or I could just buy a jet-helicopter )

Just say .. theoretically .. a person did some heats .. perhaps a 100m , a 200m and a 400m (even if they didn't win any) .. in a track-meet challenge last Sunday .. maybe between .. Perth RR and Perth Strathtay Harriers .. would that .. hypothetically .. constitute .. a race ?
