Times were severely slowed by the strong wind from the west into the faces of the runners in the last 250m. The top two Zach Delaney (Fife AC) and Ewan Paton (Fife AC) set off at a fast pace going through 800m with the wind behind them in 2:13, then hit the wind at the turn passing 1100m. Some have suggested times may have been slowed by 15sec on average!

Once again thanks must go everyone who came down to help - Brian Cruickshank, Margaret Roarty, Maureen Close, Jim Close, Colin Brown and Dan Newman.  So many willing to help made things go very well. Thanks.
